In the beauty world, skincare products that claim they are the best in the world are emerging almost on a daily basis. Advertising is everywhere, all claim that their wonder products will shed years off your age and make you look younger and more beautiful. Perhaps there is the time you feel disappointed by products that fail to deliver their promises.

What if I tell you that the secrets to young and good looking skin can be found in the comfort of your home?

Here are two products you can find in your home kitchen or local supermarket, they are often used as natural homemade skincare products.

HONEY

Honey is a natural sweetener and often used as a substitute for sugar in foods and beverages. It can also be used as a natural supplement like multi-vitamins as it contains minerals like magnesium, calcium, sodium chlorine, phosphate, iron, and sulfur. Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, and C are also found in honey. It's a natural health product.

Honey also has healing properties. For example, in the war-torn countries in the Middle East, honey is often used to treat burns on the skin. It is known for its anti-inflammatory effects on the skin and it also works as a good moisturizer. This is due to the fact that honey has the ability to attract water. It is, therefore, safe for use on sensitive skin.

You can apply a thin layer of honey on your face, leave it 5 minutes and then wash it off thoroughly with a mild facial wash. Honey can also be used as a good body scrub since it has great moisturizing and exfoliating effects. Again, make sure you wash it off completely because you don't want to attract ants to your body.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

Apple cider vinegar is a 100% natural product created in two fermentation processes. First, the fermentation of apple juice to hard apple cider. After that, the second fermentation to apple cider vinegar. It has all the goodness from which the apple has and it is packed with extra enzymes and acids after the fermentation process.

If you have sunburns or insect bites, you can apply some apple cider vinegar as it will help smooth your skin. It's also known to cure acne. Believe it or not, you can also use apple cider vinegar to treat dandruff, it also makes your hair shine. If you have dandruff, you can apply it on your hair and then wash it off thoroughly with shampoo.

Apply apple cider vinegar evenly on your face and leave it for 10 minutes, then wash it off completely with a mild facial wash. Do this consistently for a few months and you will find that you have smoother skin.

These two kitchen wonders are great for natural skincare, they can give you a smoother and great looking skin. You can now quit searching for that perfect skincare product and save some money.
