I love what you have to say here and though I am not a doctor, I have been telling everyone who would listen or over 25 years that you are what you eat, and drink, and breathe and put ON your body. So great to have this kind of inforamtion readily available? What kind of doctor are you? Where are you located? What do ou recommend for cleansing the impurities from the body? I'm glad you like the website! It is my mission to bring the word HEALTH back to it's original meaning.  Healthcare is really Sickcare and I hope to explode our current paradigm of health here in N.America. 

Regarding your questions.  I am a Doctor of Chiropractic. I practice at a clinic in SW Washington near Portland Oregon.  Cleansing is a way to purge toxins from our body.  I feel that a daily supplemental "Greens" Shake is an essential beginning.  If you are taking medication then a daily liver cleanse tablet is great.  They contain beet juice extract and milk thistle as main ingredients. 

I feel that for the average human, a heavy metal cleanse and liver and colon cleanse are important to do quarterly.  EDTA is a powerful chelation cleanse designed to rid the body of heavy metals.  Colon Cleanses and Colon Hydrotherapy are a great way to scruff the insides of our intestines and liver cleansing rids the liver and body of toxins.
